  • The Champions: These curious and courageous folks are passionate about innovation and would love to talk to you about it at ReMix. Any one of them can answer a question, share a story, or hook you up with a notepad.
  • The Buzz Zones: Visit all ten Buzz Zones to learn more about innovative work happening across the BC Public Service including behavioural science, who’s doing digital, new approaches to policy making and much more.
  • The Hive: A gathering space for informal dialogue with 15-20 participants and host(s). If you visit the Hive, prepare to get real with your colleagues on some of the challenges (and opportunities) facing our organization.

ReMix isn’t your average conference. Come with an open mind and leave a more innovative leaderl

Limited Capacity filling up

Traditional approaches to policy and planning assume that we can predict the future of a business accurately enough to choose a clear direction for it. In a world where uncertainty and volatility have become the norm, however, these approaches can fail to deliver and even lead to disastrous consequences. Increasing turbulence in the operating environment requires innovative ways of thinking about the future.

But foresight is not just an innovative practice – it also provides a frame to better understand innovation itself. This workshop will explore how organizations can use foresight to steward their innovation efforts. Participants will develop an understanding not only of foresight from an innovation lens, but also of innovation from a foresight lens.
